For everyone that has played Half Life, and seen the scary Tom Cruise video.This video is pretty well done. I was impressed with the quality. Apparently the creator is selling the Combine costume on ebay, but I would recommend just searching Ebay for Russian gas mask. You can get the costume for a lot cheaper that way.
We are chilling things down a bit today, bringing you some ice related videos. Each video doesn’t really have much to do one another except for ice is involved in the video. The last video is the most interesting to me, I still don’t understand how it works, but I will accept it and move on.
Just one video today guys. I stumbled across it randomly today while browsing through the many webs of the INTERNET! I watched it with my girlfriend and we booth went “aaawwww” by the end. Yes there is no real nerd relevance to it, but maybe for just one minute you can forgive me for posting a non nerdy video and open your hearts to a small clip of Kermit the frog and a little girl practicing the alphabet.

I hope we get everyone’s attention for this “FIX” today. You have probably seen Matuske post about the Child’s Play Metroid Marathon, well that is happening this very instant! It will be going on for about 40 more hours. The group running the charity marathon is trying to raise at least $500.

I have always been fascinated with extreme slow motion film recording actions that our eyes can’t usually see all that well. Such as bullets flying through anything, water exploding, fire igniting, dodge balls hitting people in the face, myself tripping in the hallway at school in front of that girl I used to have a crush on. All sorts of neat stuff right?!
Today we have some Yo-Yo ninjas in the house. It kind of makes me laugh, watching these videos. The tricks and movements are amazing and it really makes you envious that these people have the mad Yo-Yo skills that they do, but then at the same time I think “what the hell am I gonna do with these skills?”. It is not like you are gonna go over to your bf/gf’s house and show off your mad Yo-Yo skills to the parents in hopes of letting them court their offspring. Going into a job interview swinging a Yo-Yo doesn’t really get you far either.
I guess it is only good for just standing up on stage showing a useless yet impressive skill you spent too much time learning and accidentally putting a lot of holes in your dry wall. I am willing to bet they have leagues or something. Hell, they have Pillow Fight leagues, they gotta have something for Yo-Yo. They should make a documentary about it. Call it “Life on the Thread - A Yo-Yo Documentary”.
