A new trailer for the CG Resident Evil movie premiered at Comic-Con this past week.

The movie is set in the year 2005 where Leon and Claire must eliminate the T-Virus which has been purposely leaked into a US Airport by “bio-terrorist”.  Authorities lock down the airport leaving the living at the hands of the dead.

Thoughts: the visuals are kinda lame in some parts, where others areas are “decent”. I would say it’s good for a cut scene in a video game but making a feature film out of it…well…I might put a little more money into visuals. Other then that, it looks like an action packed ride that will provide a few “sweeeettt” moments and most likely corny one liners we all wish we could pull off.

More in game footage of Resident Evil 5 have surfaced. These clips give you a glimpse at the co-op game play. It looks very polished. With the co-op you can link up to any of your friends while playing THROUGH ZEE POWERZ OF ZE INTERNETZ!!!!!, and start busting zombie / las plagas heads together.

Yesterday’s Microsoft E3 press Conference brought us awesome Resident Evil 5 Footage! Here’s a sweet trailer to check out.

The release date has been set as March 13, 2009. Which coincidentally is also Friday the 13th. Ooo scary…

During the press conference, we got to catch a glimpse of the new online co-op game play.

Apparently, during co-op play anyone can jump in at any time during the game to give you assistance. The story doesn’t change and your partner can jump out at anytime and have the AI take over. Unfortunately, if your friend dies while you’re playing, you suffer too. So don’t play with anyone that sucks.

So far from what I’ve seen, Resident Evil 5 is looking good. Intense and full of action! Thumbs Up Capcom!
