I don’t know about you, but I have played several Mega Man NES games, and it is hard to say that each games brings it’s own to the table. I mean, they’re all the freakin same! Sure bosses are a tad different here and there and different power ups have been added, but is there anything really that different from each title. I say no.

The latest Mega Man game (Mega Man 9) is a back to basics sequel to the popular series that uses the same graphics and technology that Mega Man 1 & 2 for the NES used.

Well this hasn’t stopped Megan Man fans from putting $10 down for the latest entry into the Mega Man series. Mega Man 9 was released over WiiWare (console download) and has already been downloaded more then 60,000 times. Meaning it has grossed over half a million dollars. Here is the real kicker, that was just one day.

Wowzers…

I guess people love to waste money, or forgot what ROMs are (Nerd Fellowship just not endorse ROMs :3 ). Just seems like madness.

I will continue to shake my head over here on the side lines. Fools! HA!

Now to go buy another GTA game. Repetitive car stealing missions, HERE I COME!

Amid rumors that Mega Man 9, the first sequel since 1997’s Mega Man 8, would be a Wii Ware only title, it was confirmed that our favorite little blue guy will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. Capcom decided it was time for the Mega Man franchise to revisit it’s roots, classic 8-bit graphics! Check out the spiffy trailer!
