The Hulk - Deleted Scenes & Making Of Clips

One of this summer’s best movies (and under-rated in my personal opinion), The Hulk just came out on DVD & Blu-Ray this last Tuesday. Along with the DVD / Blu-Ray comes some bonus material which includes deleted scenes and a “Making of” video. Here are a few previews of what is included.

Making of The Incredible Hulk - chase scene

Becoming the Abomination

I really really really hope we get to see more Hulk in the future, and don’t do it without Edward Norton pleeeassseeee….

Frank Miller Explains The Spirit

Everyone still has their bitter opinion on how bad The Spirit will be once it hits theaters. I still stand by my opinion that it won’t be the awful mess that everyone hopes thinks it will be, but rather a good time popcorn movie.

Frank Miller must be feeling the heat from the internet haters in one way or another, so my theory is that this video was released to help ease people into his concept for The Spirit.

Check it out.

One thing they could do is let us know what the plot is so we can stop thinking the movie is just a  The Spirit vs The Octopus fight with hot girls.

New Watchmen Trailer

A new Watchmen trailer has hit the net, which shows a little more of our favorite blue god-like nuclear physicist, Dr. Manhattan. The trailer still has a lot of the old clips in it, but it is worth a watch for the new clips.

I am cruious to see how this movie fares with the non-comic readers. Will it make mad money or crash and burn? Lets hope for the big money.

Don Cheadle To Replace Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2

Whhhaaa?! Surprising news for myself and many of the Iron Man movie fans. It appears Terrence Howard will not be coming back to reprise his role as Lt. Colonel James Rhodes due to financial conflicts.

Taking on the role of Lt. Rhodes will be the highly respected, and brilliant actor Don Cheadle (Ocean’s Thirteen, Hotel Rwanda).

It will be interesting to see how Don fits into the role. He does have that very serious act going for him much like Lt. Rhodes had in the first Iron Man film, but I do believe this movie will introduce Lt. Rhodes as War Machine, so hopefully he came make it fun aswell.

New Punisher: Warzone Trailer Doesn’t Care About Your R-Rating

A while back I posted the first trailer for the new Punisher: Warzone movie. My thoughts were generally “eh…” on it.

Curious? Yes…
Excited? Nah….

There was just nothing really going for it except obvious attempts at bad-ass one liners and lots of gun play fueled by Punisher angst.

Well…a new trailer has recently hit the net, and it certainly ups the action. Maybe to much. I can’t imagine after watching this trailer that there is going to be any action left that we have not seen. As I stated in the forums, “It pretty much shows all the action the movie will hold, and the only reason I will go to the theater is to see it again, but in order”.

Check it out.

Hmmmm, it’s lacking rap music.

Tuesday Roundup: Kick-Ass, Zombies, and Dragon Junk

1. Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass movie adaption is well on it’s way! Videos have popped up online that give an on set peak at Kick-Ass in costume and Red Mist’s car.

2. Fans of the 28 Days / Weeks Later movies will be happy to know a 3rd movie is underway with Paul Andrew Williams (The Cottage) taking on the project as director.

It’s cool that the 3rd film is getting ready to go into production, but I kinda wish Danny Boyle (original director of 28 Days Later) was on board to direct this film.

3. And of course, there is the Dragon Ball movie trailer. Which looks exactly like well all assumed it would.

Holy hell this movie looks bad. I don’t mean to jump on the hate bandwagon, but this looks nothing like the show I remember. They can’t even decide what show to draw a plot from. Is this DB or DBZ? Goku looks more like Gohan in the movie.

Whatever, you know I will be there opening day and wind up loving it.

New Spirit Trailer

A new trailer for Frank Miller’s The Spirit is now online. The trailer is getting negative buzz, but I don’t agree with what everyone is saying. I think the trailer is a lot better then the previous installments. The plot is still vague though. People just aren’t getting that the movie isn’t Sin City. Yes it has the same look and feel, but it also stretches into a very comic comedy world. Not that the movie is a comedy, but it is not supposed to be taken very seriously.

Check it out.

I predict this film will fail to succeed at the box office due to negative buzz and general confusion over the film’s story and characters, but over all will be a great movie. I will go and see it opening day, I suggest you do too!

Alan Moore Talks About Watchmen & Life

Alan Moore (writer of the Watchmen graphic novel and V for Vendetta) has been throwing curses on all movie adaptions of his work like a mad gypsy, and it is very sad because the Watchmen movie is looking like a true to form adaption.  If I was Watchmen director Zack Snyder, I would be a tiny bit depressed that all my hard work would not even be appreciated or seen by the one man it matters most to.

I mean Moore won’t even give it a chance. I have heard his reasons, but I still think it is a little ignorant. If at most, just call it fan art and give it a look. Haha!

“Oh yeah, that is ahhhhhh…pretty good…eerrmmm…nice job.”

Anyway, check out these videos below with Alan Moore talking about his personal opinions on Watchmen and life as we know it. The videos give an interesting perspective into the mind of Alan Moore.

Kick-Ass Set Photos

Mark Millar’s movie adaptation of his comic Kick-Ass is currently in the filming process. This means that set photos will start leaking online probably every other week, so get ready for Kick-Ass over load. Just like we did before TDK released.

Fans are already pumped up in what seems like the next evolution on comic to film adaptations (mainly because of the story).

Check out the on set photos below.

Nice! Nothing like a hard metal car roof to break your fall.

New Spirit Posters, Needs More Holes

New posters has been posted on UGO for Frank Miller’s The Spirit staring Gabriel Macht and  Samuel L. Jackson. The text on the sides of the first poster is a little hard to read, but I believe it reads “I’,m gonna kill you. All Kinds of dead.”

Apparently the Octopus has trouble aiming above the shoulders.

The posters looks pretty cool (Samuel L. Jackson has the better poster), but I wish they would have toned down the orange orgy. It’s ridiculous.
